Materials & care
What something is made of matters more to us than what it looks like in a photo. A short note on how we source and how to keep things looking right.
- Sourcing
- We visit the people who make what we sell. If we wouldn't put our name on the process, we don't put it on the shelf.
- Construction
- Seams, hardware, and finishes are chosen to be repaired, not replaced. We'd rather something last a decade than a season.
- Care
- Most of what we sell is better maintained than replaced. Care instructions ship with every order, not just a tag.
- Packaging
- Minimal, recyclable, no branded tissue paper you'll throw away. The product is the point, not the box it came in.
