Behind the scenes: how we pick what we carry
Every product we carry goes through the same short list of questions: does it hold up, is it made by people we'd want to support, and would we actually use it ourselves? If the answer to any of those is no, it doesn't make the cut, no matter how well it photographs.
We'd rather have a smaller, more considered catalog than a bigger one padded with things we're lukewarm on. That means saying no to a lot of pitches, and it means restocking slower than some shops. We think that trade-off is worth it.
That's the whole entry — no related-posts algorithm, just the journal.
